The process — a surveyed route, five stations
From first look at the Chart to a formed company with its calendar drawn, the route is the same for every state in the Atlas. What changes by state — fee, duty, office — is on the state’s own sheet.
Station 1 — Choose the state from the Atlas
The Chart and Ledger
You start from evidence: the verified fee, the duty that repeats, and where your customers and operations actually are — not a forum myth. The diagnostic plots the same route in five questions.
You receive: your Route Brief (state summary, total cost, duty calendar, EIN path).
Station 2 — Intake, once
One form, no re-asking
Members, managers, the address for formation records, and the responsible-party details the EIN step needs — collected once and used for every filing that follows.
You receive: an intake confirmation listing exactly what will be filed, where, and for how much.
Station 3 — Formation filed; agent appointed
The state filing
Articles filed in the chosen state with the office named on its sheet; a registered agent is on file from day one, as every state in the Atlas requires.
You receive: the filed formation document (stamped Articles or Certificate) as a PDF.
Station 4 — EIN, including the without-SSN route
The IRS filing
For founders with no SSN or ITIN, the EIN is applied for through the IRS fax/mail route for foreign owners — slower than the online route, and timed honestly on the EIN guide.
You receive: your CP 575 EIN confirmation as a PDF.
Station 5 — Your obligations, on paper
The duty calendar
You leave with the state duty from your state sheet and the federal dates that apply to foreign-owned LLCs, in writing — including Form 5472 where it applies.
You receive: your duty calendar, including an .ics calendar file.
What this route will not do
It will not recommend Wyoming or Delaware from this business, promise a bank account, or give tax advice. It will not charge you before our selling company exists and a paid test order has been walked end to end — until then, every station above is a description of the service that opens with the launch list, and the launch list is the honest way in.
